Art has always been my way of making sense of the world. Long before I thought of myself as an artist, I found comfort in creating. Using it to process emotions, capture moments, and express the things that were difficult to put into words.
Whether I'm painting, drawing, or exploring mixed media, my hope is the same: to create work that invites people to slow down, reflect, and connect with something within themselves. If a piece makes someone pause, feel understood, or simply brings a sense of peace into their space, then it's done exactly what I hoped it would.
Kate's Story
Where it began.
Creativity has always been a part of who I am. I grew up drawing anything I could imagine, surrounded by a family that encouraged curiosity, creativity, and the freedom to express myself. Those early experiences gave me the confidence to experiment, embrace mistakes, and develop my own artistic voice.
Over time, that love evolved into oil painting and mixed media, where I found the freedom to explore emotion, texture, and atmosphere. Even now, I don't feel tied to a single style. I'm inspired by the process of discovering what each piece wants to become.
